We believe that the church is more than just a building or somewhere you go every week out of religious duty.

We believe that as the body and bride of the Lord Jesus Christ, the church is a living, breathing, spiritual organism and the members (Christians) are joined and built together as living stones to make up that body and bride.

1Pe 2:5 "you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ."

We believe in the priesthood of all believers and that the idea and office of an ordained minister is unbiblical and counterproductive when it comes to the spiritual and practical functioning and mutual edification of every member of the body.

1Corinthians 14:26 "What then shall we say, brothers? When you come together, everyone has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. All of these must be done for the strengthening of the church."

Because of this, our meetings have no visible leader. Our leader is Jesus Christ who is the true head of the church.

We do believe in leadership within the church, but not in the same way as the hierarchical institutional structures that exist within mainstream christianity.

Matthew 20:25,26 "Jesus called them together and said, "You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,"
